Women in the community are invited to the annual Inter-sisterhood meeting on Wednesday, May 2, at Beth David Synagogue, 39 Riverside Dr., Binghamton. The event is hosted this year by Beth David Sisterhood. Beginning at 7 pm, the cost is $5 per person, which includes refreshments, payable at the door.
“Fashion Week Comes to Inter-sisterhood” will present a look at today’s latest fashions and vintage or pre-owned apparel. Fashions will all come from Vintageness and will be modeled by Sisterhood members. “There will be something for all ages and all sizes,” said organizers of the event.
Vintageness is owned and managed by Inessa Raytenberg, a Binghamton native who received her B.A. from Binghamton University and continued her studies there, receiving her M.B.A. Her expertise is in high end retail, including several years at Saks Fifth Avenue’s  New York flagship store and eight years at Goldsmith of Binghamton. “Her love of great value, panache and luxury labels has laid the groundwork for building Vintageness into the blend of pre-owned garments and collection of brand new, hand-selected season must haves reflecting the lifestyles of the Southern Tier community,” said organizers of the event.
All women in the community are invited to attend, and to bring their neighbors and friends. To RSVP, call Beth David Synagogue at 722-1793, Temple Concord at 723-7355 or Temple Israel at 723-7461.
