A variety of Jewish groups are offering educational and recreational online resources. Below is a sampling of those. The Reporter will publish additional listings as they become available. 

The Blue Dove Foundation offers resources for those with mental health issues. The readings for Shavuot can be found here.

The Museum of Jewish Heritage will hold the hybrid theater performance “What Do I Do With All This Heritage?” on Sunday, May 18, at 2:30 pm. A suggested donation of $10 is requested. The Braid show “is the first-ever theater show to explore the lives of Asian American Jews.” For more information or to register, click here.

The Jewish Grandparents Network will hold the virtual program “When Grandparents Get Canceled (And What to Do About It)” on Wednesday, May 14, from 7-8 pm. Licensed marriage and family therapist associate Rachel Haack will offer to address the pain and take small steps toward reconciliation. For more information or to register, click here.

The Siegal Lifelong Learning will hold the virtual lecture “Jewish Amsterdam: Then and Now” on Thursday, June 12, from 1:30-3 pm. The cost to attend is $10. “The lecture will discuss Jewish cultural heritage from the Dutch capital, including books, ritual objects and synagogues, as well as monuments from the newly developed National Holocaust Museum.” For more information or to register, click here.

Hadassah Magazine will hold the virtual book talk “Ayelet Tsabari – Songs from a Yemeni Israeli Legacy” on Wednesday, May 21, at 7 pm. Tsabari will discuss her award winning novel “Songs for the Brokenhearted.” For more information or to register, click here

Rabbi Linda Bernstein has launched the website Mitzvah Power Academy, www.mitzvahpower.com, a new Jewish “edutainment” series and interactive website designed to teach children, ages 5-10, Torah lessons.  
The Jewish Book Council will hold the virtual program “Never Alone Book Club: Virtual Conversation with Dara Horn” on Thursday, May 15, from 8-9 pm. Attendance at the event requires the purchase of Dara Horn’s book, “One Little Goat.” For more information or to register, click here.

The Jewish Women’s Archive will hold the virtual “JWA’s Early Summer Book Talks.” All talks will begin at 8 pm: Thursday, May 29, Alina Adams, “Go On Pretending”; Thursday, June 5, Tova Mirvis, “We Would Never”; Thursday, June 12, Ruth Franklin, “The Many Lives of Anne Frank”; and Thursday, June 26, Jacqueline Friedland, “Counting Backwards.” For more information or to register, click here

The Nosher will hold the online event “Gursha: A Conversation on Bringing Ethiopian-Jewish Food to Israel, Harlem and Beyond” on Monday, May 12, at 6 pm. Chef Beejhy Barhany will talk about her book “Gursha,” which includes more than 100 personal recipes and essays on Beta Israel culture and traditions. Roundtable will hold the virtual course “Classic Jewish Love Stories Across Two Continents” on Fridays, June 27-July 25, from noon-1 pm. The cost to attend is $176. The Jewish Book Council will hold the virtual book talk “Who Will Rescue Us?: The Story of the Jewish Children Who Fled to France and America During the Holocaust” on Wednesday, May 28, from 12-1:15 pm. The American Jewish Historical Society will hold the virtual program “At Lunch with David Denby” on Thursday, May 22, from 12:30-1:15 pm. Denby will discuss his book “Eminent Jews: Bernstein, Brooks, Friedan, Mailer.” For more information or to register, click here.

The YIVO Institute for Jewish Research will hold the virtual book talk “The New Jewish School in Music (1908-1938) as Part of the Jewish Cultural Renaissance” on Thursday June 5, at 1 pm. Jascha Nemtsov will discuss his new book “From St. Petersburg to Vienna: The New Jewish School in Music (1908-1938) as Part of the Jewish Cultural Renaissance.” For more information or to register, click here.

The Jewish Grandparents Network will hold the virtual program “Navigating the Emotional Rollercoaster of Long-Distance Grandparenting” on Thursday, June 5, from 7-8 pm. A voluntary donation is requested. Kerry Byrne, Ph.D. founder of The Long Distance Grandparent, will explore the emotional side of long-distance grandparenting. Hadassah Magazine will hold a virtual panel “Young Zionists Take Up the Fight” on Wednesday, June 18, at 7 pm. Hadassah Magazine Executive Editor Lisa Hostein will moderate a panel discussion with young women speaking up for Israel today, as well as some leaders working with Gen Z communities. My Jewish Learning will hold the virtual class “Earth, Wind and Fire: The Origins of Jewish Environmental Ethics” on Thursdays, May 22-June 12, at 6 pm. The cost to attend is $54. The American Jewish University will hold several virtual books talks: “The Art Spy: Rose Valland’s Fight Against Nazi Art Looters” on Thursday, May 22, at 3 pm (available here); “Sacred Poetry in the Shadow of the Shoah” on Thursday, May 29, at 3 pm (available here); and “Saints and Liars: The Americans Who Saved Refugees from the Nazis” on Tuesday, June 10, at 3 pm.
