The Jewish Federation of Broome County, in conjunction with the PJ Library, and Hillel Academy of Broome County will hold a Shabbat in the Park event on Friday, June 28, at 10:30 am, at Arnold Park, Andrews Road, Vestal.
The event is open to all families with young children. It will include Shabbat refreshments, music and storytelling. The children will also have the opportunity to use the park’s playground. RSVPs can be made by visiting this link or e-mailing director@jfgb.org.
“Shabbat in the Park will give families a chance to get together for some relaxed, laid-back pre-Shabbat fun,” said Shelley Hubal, executive director of the Federation. “Summer is the best time to gather, relax and make new friends. We hope young families of all ages will come out and share in the sweetness of Shabbat.”
