The Broome County Library’s Hungry Ear Program will feature two stories of Jewish humor on Monday, May 23, from 5:30-6:30 pm, in the Decker Room. Bernard Malamud’s “The First Seven Years” will be read by Deb Williams, and tells about a father’s search for a husband for his daughter. John Carey will read a story about a man determined to have a relationship with a smart woman in “The Whore of Mensa” by Woody Allen. The program is free and open to the public.
